Hi Greg,
I have the same questions. There's lots of moving parts here. We have been listening, and what I "hear" from all this is that there's lots of valid concerns among various community groups and organizations, and the feel they're not being heard. They are looking for a forum to represent them. As you know, I have been involved in Democratic politics inGeorgia and while we have our issues, we're pretty unified in NW Ga (let's not talk about atlanta) But hamilton county is terribly divided among personal, ideological, economic and racial lines.
At the same time, the River City Company and the chamber and other interests seem to have a fairly unified economic development vision which may leave lots of community groups behind.
The good news is that all these interests talk to you. We have an opportunity to provide a non-partisan forum to pull things together.
How to do that I dunno.
Bur I do feel there is a real niche for your efforts
Jack
